Welcome to Village Green
Village Green at Elysian Heights, is a planned community of just over 300 homes in the Catoctin District of Loudoun County just north and east of Lucketts. The majority of the homes were built by Beazer Homes and at the center of the community is a large open area, where families and friends can gather for picnics, or to throw frisbees, or kick soccer balls.
The community amenities includes an outdoor swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, and walking paths. Village Green Real Estate listings have gone up dramatically in the last few years as a result of its great amenities, proximity to Leesburg, and yet still being able to retain it's "rural" feel with the surrounding countryside.
It's surrounded by great wineries, breweries, farm stands, boutique shops, restaurants and more! Places like Vanish Brewery, Fabbioli Cellars, Barnhouse Brewery, Flying Ace Distillery and more. Village Green has great access to the MARC train from Point of Rocks, MD for commuting to DC, and not far off of Route 15 for commuting into Northern Virginia.
If you're looking for Village Green homes for sale one of the nice things about this neighborhood is that there are single family detached homes as well as townhomes in this neighborhood, creating a great mix of opportunities depending on your budget.
Townhomes here typically have around 3,500 square feet of space and feature a rear 2 car garage and updated amenities. As an example, this townhome sold recently for $575K.
Meanwhile, some of the larger detached single family homes are over 5,000 square feet. Here's a recent sale of a 4,600 sqft home that sold for $850K. This is the unofficial name of the region north of Leesburg defined as "from the bypass to bridge, from the river to ridge", coined famously by local wine maker Doug Fabbioli.
