Labor Day weekend brings LoCo Fest 2022, an entire day of music with proceeds going to benefit young musicians in Loudoun County.
The event takes place at 868 Estate Vineyards and is organized by Todd Brooks of "Todd Brooks and Pour Decisions" band.
That's me with Todd and my dog Charlie! It's very dog friendly! Living in Loudoun is full of friendly places like this!
I love this region, and love to give back, so for LoCo Fest 2022, my husband and I both volunteered for the day. Tickets were only $20 in advance, and you get a whole day sampling some of Loudoun's best musicians, as well as some "rising stars", which are typically under 16 years old! And the proceeds go to support young local musicians who are trying to get started in the business.
There also are a ton of food trucks on site, and they have other vendors selling merchandise as well as local beers (since 868 only produces wine).
It's a great opportunity to sit in the shade (or sun if you prefer) drink some great wine (or beer or sangria slushies) and listen to some amazing local musicians all day!
